== This real story on acts of kindness came from a friend in the US. Thanks for sharing this beautiful incident of kindness! ==

Recently I was on my way to work travelling along the busy Interstate. I was already going to be late and trying to make up some time by getting off the Interstate and taking a few less known back roads to cut my travel time in half. These back roads have hardly any traffic on them and the tourists have no idea about them so they are a great way to travel quickly with less stop and go traffic. I work at a very world renowned restaurant and being late is not tolerated very well. As I traveled along this quiet road I began to hear what sounded like a helicopter riding above me. I opened the window and the noise got even louder. i soon realized my front tire was going flat and I had to pull over immediately. I saw the tire was completely off the rim and that it needed to be changed. I popped the trunk and found the spare tire but I had no idea how to change a tire. I am a twenty something year old female barely 100 pounds. I don't think I could even lift that spare tire.

My problem was now that I was on a nice quiet back road with no traffic, I really needed some help. Being a girl I was terrified the first car to pull up would grab me and kidnap me. All sorts of bad things ran through my head. Two or three cars eventually drove by but neither even slowed down to see if I was ok. I tried to use my cell phone, but I had no idea exactly where i was, and the few people I called were not answering. I was about to call the police when a van pulled up next to me and forty something man asked me if i needed help. I told him I did only because i did see a child in the car with him so i figured I was safe. He pulled in back of my car and put on his hazard lights to protect us, and came up to introduce himself. His name was Gary, he was on his way to take his daughter to dancing school, or should I say daughters. He actually had 4 cute girls in the van with him that were headed to dance in 20 minutes. As he took out my tire and began working, I noticed the children slowly opening the door and walking up to me. As their dad fixed my car, each one of them asked me if I was ok, and if I was scared, and they each told me that their was nothing to be afraid of because the 4 of them also took karate and would protect me. They were adorable. I sat with them in the van and we talked about dancing, and cartoons and of course SpongeBob!

My tire was so badly worn it took Gary 30 minutes to get it off the car, and by the time he fixed it, and hour had passed. The girls missed their dance practice and I felt terrible. They did not complain one time, they each offered to dance for me on the side of the road instead of going to practice. They did everything to make me feel better, and Gary also sacrificed his time without asking for anything in return. Once my car was fixed, he offered to follow my car to a min road so I didn't have trouble riding on a spare. He followed me to within a mile of my work, pulled over so i could say goodbye to the kids, and left to go back home. His and the kids made a huge sacrifice for me that I never forgot. The story doesn't end there though. My restaurant like I said was world renowned, and we did a promotional event at a local college football game. Guess who came up to my booth at the game, Gary and his wife and the girls. I was so excited to see them I got them all free t-shirts autographed by some of the players and I gave them all huge hugs for saving me that scary day on the back roads to work.
