One thing I do often is hand over old toys, games, clothing and so on to various stores in my area, mainly goodwill and a saint vincent de paul store. It's nice to know that someone out there can use said stuff and be a bit more secure because of it. Clothing does come in handy. I do like giving clothes to the poor though, it's quite nice to do and it's right.

This is truly a good thing to do. Why? because whatever you give can make a child happy. I gave a ton of my old toys away to toys for tots when I was a kid, and I make sure my children do the same when they have no use for their toys anymore. Kids these days are happy with the small things, and it's the least we can do.
